For the first time ever, the Central Alberta Women’s Emergency Shelter (CAWES) is hosting Battle of the Bands: Voices for Change — and we’re calling on local bands to be part of something big.

On July 11, 2026, bands will take the stage at Bo’s Bar and Stage for one high-energy night of live music, community, and competition — all in support of a vital local cause.

What’s at stake:

• Guaranteed $1,000 cash prize

• Your band’s name engraved on the official CAWES Battle of the Bands trophy

• A live audience and a panel of judges, including a celebrity guest judge

🎟 Entry Fee: $100 per band (100% goes to the prize pool and supporting CAWES)
