Our trained Case Managers are available 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week, 365 days-a-year to support you in your journey. We are here to answer your questions, hear your voice, and provide support and advice in a non-judgmental environment. We Provide

Accommodation and Emergency Services

Safe, secure, emergency accommodation is provided in a respectful and confidential manner for a maximum stay of 28 days with a licensed occupancy of 40 beds.

Crisis Intervention

Free crisis support is available to women experiencing or who think they may be experiencing family violence by our experienced and trained crisis intervention team. We are available:

In-House: To residents 24 hrs/day 7 days/week

By Phone: 24 hrs/day, 7 days/week by calling 403-346-5643 or through the Family Violence Helpline (1-888-346-5643)

Walk-Ins: By appointment.

Childcare

Our trained childcare staff provide a supportive and safe environment for children to learn healthy and appropriate behaviour, develop positive self-esteem, gather awareness about family violence, and share their distress and pain in a trusting atmosphere.

Outreach and Follow-up 

Our Outreach Workers provide information, referrals, and support to women affected by domestic violence in Red Deer and surrounding rural communities. Clients may or may not have stayed in the shelter. This program provides essential support and information about family violence, safety planning, and resources available to people experiencing family violence
