Welcome to Central Alberta Women's Emergency Shelter, where we believe everyone deserves a life free from family violence. Our shelter provides safe refuge, case management, and community support for families facing these challenges. Each year, nearly 3,000 individuals take the brave step towards a violence-free life, but thousands more in our community still need our help.
Family violence affects not only individuals and families but entire communities. Through prevention initiatives, child-focused healing programs, and empowering clients for safe independence, we've seen promising improvements in family violence rates in central Alberta.
