The CAWES in partnership with program funder RBC will be working tiressly to raise awareness and understanding about the issue of domestic violence. Our experienced staff and volunteers will be visiting schools, trade shows, clubs and groups to give presentations and answer questions about this important issue.  If you are interested in learning more about how your group can participate please contact the shelter.

A portion of the funds from the RBC grant were used to purchase 12 amazing posters depicting true stories of domestic violence.  The posters were debuted at the World of Women trade show in October 2007.   Visitors to the booth agreed that the posters dealt with the issue in a strong, direct way & provoked much discussion.
