Kathy Fitzsimons of Royal lePage Network Realty Corp presents Tara with a cheque for $3955.72. Proceeds were raised through the Royal LePage Foundation event'Garage Sale for Shelter', a national fundraising event.

Thanks to Kathy's leadership and direction, staff and volunteers worked

really hard to support the shelter!

Our wonderful friends at Grower Direct present us with a generous

cheque, the proceeds of the succesful Comin up Roses event,

held in August during friendship week!

Thanks to Vermillion Resources for their donation,

the proceeds of their annual golf tournament draw hole!

The shelter was excited to be chosen as recipent of the EXH staff

07 Christmas party bar fund. A whopping $3565.00 was raised!

The shelter received the proceeds of a special fashion show event

held at the Club in November of 2007. More than $2600 was raised

with the support of dynamic Red Deer businesses.

Tara & Anna were pleased to accept a cheque for over $4000 from owners

of Grower Direct North and South stores. JoAnne Curtis and Kelly Soucy

generously supported the shelter through a special event called 'Everythings

Comin Up Roses for the CAWES' held during friendship week, August 2007.

Tara and Anna gratefuly receive a cheque from Lexi Fisher of Green

Acres Campground, $5000 was raised through a sold out ladies

fashion show held at the campground in the Summer.

After an early morning brief presentation to employees Tara

accepts a cheque for$1000 from Canada Post!

Along with other worthy organisations the CAWES receives a share of funds
in honour of the Hudson Bay Companies birthday! Congratulations HBC!

The dynamic duo of Tipitina's and Soma Works team up to raise funds
for the CAWES through an intimate concert in Springbrook.

Gasoline Alley Harley Davidson & Kinsmen Red Deer present the
C.A.W.E.S. with a cheque for $7500.00, a percentage of the
proceeds of the Kinsmen Dream Home Ticket Sales
